UK In-Person Convening

Safe culture matters: a practical approach to policy and every day practice
Date: 2 July
Time: 11:00 – 16:30
Venue: London
About the event:
Join FSC members from across the UK as we explore the implications for recent and upcoming legal and regulatory changes and share insights on practical ways to develop and implement a Safeguarding Policy that tackles evolving risks, drives cultural change and underpins everyday practice in your organisation. As well as the chance to meet others responsible for safeguarding in a range of funder organisations and plenty of networking time, you can participate in sessions including:
- An interactive Safeguarding Policy health check: bring your safeguarding policy along and benchmark it against legal requirements, regulatory standards and best practice, with your peers.
- A bumper law and policy round up looking at key law and policy reforms which will impact funders’ approaches to safeguarding today and in the future
- Expert insight on wider policies: Bates Wells will talk about new duties with regard to the workplace and sexual harassment
- Member insight: UK based funders will share their Safeguarding Policy and talk about how they have tackled safeguarding risks and tricky issues
