Safeguarding Advisor - UK

Clair Cooke is Safeguarding Advisor at Funder Safeguarding Collaborative (FSC). She provides a range of services and support for UK based philanthropic funders including learning and sharing events, resources, and technical support.


Clair joined FSC in September 2024 having been a freelance safeguarding consultant and trainer for nearly 6 years. She has over 30 years of experience in leadership, safeguarding, and safe practice and is trained in law, international development, and youth work. She has worked across the sectors but has significant experience in the voluntary sector, having devised and managed services for at risk children and adults. She is currently studying with the Open University and, when she has spare time, enjoys getting outdoors or getting on with the next crafting project.
