Cara-Marie Findlay is the US Safeguarding Advisor for the Funder Safeguarding Collaborative (FSC), where she supports strengthening safeguarding policies and practices within the funding sector in the United States. Cara-Marie is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Findlay House Global—a social change consulting firm dedicated to bridging the gap between organisations and the communities they serve through people-centered social and behaviour change strategies. She has over a decade of experience in strategic communications, participatory design, and capacity building; and has worked with government agencies and non-governmental organisations across the U.S., Africa, and Europe to champion equitable, community-led development. Her work with underrepresented and vulnerable communities has made her an expert in safeguarding. Cara-Marie holds a master’s degree in Communication for Development and Social Change.
