FSC Members benefit from contextually relevant information, knowlege, spaces and support services tailored to the needs of funder organisations and grounded in research and evidence.
Membership is for the organisation which mean all employees can benefit from FSC resources, events and support.
FSC’s support in shaping our safeguarding practice over the last few years has been invaluable. They have listened, questioned, and engaged with us in a way that has made us feel safe - recognising that every funder is on its own journey and never applying a one size fits all approach.Clare Ballantine, Howden Foundation

Interested in joining us?
Membership is open to private, corporate, public, and community foundations and charitable trusts.
We welcome organisations that are committed to positive action to improve safeguarding practice. To join FSC, you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Grant-making is a core component of your organisational mission.
- Intermediary funders (fiscal sponsors, grant-making public charities, community foundations, and philanthropy advisors) must dedicate at least 50% of their budget to grant-making and/or capacity building support to the organisations they fund.
- There is no requirement to have well developed safeguarding measures in place but you must be commited to positive action to improve safeguarding practices.
Funder networks and grant-making affinity groups can also join FSC. Membership benefits are restricted to your team but we will support you to raise awareness among your members who are welcome to join FSC. Membership is not open to bi-lateral or government funders but we aim to work closely with government stakeholders to share learning and promote best practice.
Being a member of the Funder Safeguarding Collaborative (FSC) has been invaluable. Their support has helped us think about the different ways in which safeguarding shows up in our organisation and equipped us with the tools to support our staff and Trustees. Knowing that they're always on hand to help us think through things has been incredibly reassuring.LLoyds Bank Foundation
